Journals/Newsletters
Although the WWW has had a number of newsletters on-line, the placement
of actual journals have been slow in development. Part of the reason for
this delay is the concern among publishers on how to maintain subscriptions
to their "hard copy" journals if one has access to the journal
via the WWW. Only recently has there been easy to monitor and inexpensive
software developed that allows passwords and/or fees attached to enter
a particular web page. Thus, it is certained that within the next 2-3 years
a larger number of peer-reviewed journals will be appearing on the WWW.
The items listed below are only a few that have been found. Most, at the
time of this writing, only provide general information about the journal
and perhaps tables of contents, abstracts, and a single article or two.
In addition, many medical specialities have their own newsletters and/or

medical specialty web pages that provide a newsletter.
