As noted above, if your abstract is accepted, you will be expected to provide a laptop to show your presentation.  By submitting this abstract you agree, that if accepted, to present at the 2009 HEDIR Technology Seminar in Tampa.

Finally, the intent of the HEDIR Technology Seminar is to demonstrate creative and innovative strategies to help other health educators incorporate technology.  This is not intended to be used as a venue for promoting commercial products.  Whereas it is appropriate to mention a commercial program that one may be using (i.e., Power Point), it is inappropriate to just use this forum to demonstrate such a program.  Thus, I may show my technology ideas via a PowerPoint Presentation, however, it is not appropriate to submit an abstract describing PowerPoint as their main feature.  If you are uncertain, please feel free to contact Dr. Kittleson or the event coordinator, Dr. Beth Chaney.

Deadline for submitting the abstract is September 16, 2008.   Authors will be notified by  September 30, 2008.
