During the summer of 1998 a strange, unknown phenomena took place across America. A total of 875 cases of homeritis took place. Homeritis is an odd disease which a person has a desire to lose one=s teeth or facial features in exchange to gather a homerun ball hit by Sammy Sosa or Mark McGwire. Of these 875 cases, 0 cases took place in April; 25 cases in May, 75 cases in June, 280 cases in July, 300 cases in August, and 195 cases in September (for the first two weeks).

Further investigation of the 875 cases of Homeritis revealed that all were males. Of the 875 cases, 120 were classified as unemployed sociopaths (and not a specific fan to either McGwire or Sosa); 300 were determined to be McGwire fans, whereas the remaining 455 were classified as Sosa fans.
